Mélodie D’Ô

Publishing house

Mélodie D'Ô is a brand-new publishing house, established between late 2019 and early 2020. Its name stems from the founder’s passion for the marine environment; the sounds of the sea — the crashing of waves, their rhythmic rolling, and the gentle lapping of water — serve as an inspiration for the press.

The editorial vision is to combine pleasure with knowledge. Upon finishing a book, readers should feel as though they have journeyed through various settings — whether specific places, atmospheres, communities, or historical periods — while also having gained new insights or been prompted to reflect on the world, past, present, or future.

This guiding principle applies equally to novels, works on contemporary society, and professional texts. The core commitment is to remain constructive and open to diversity and pluralism, while never shying away from exploring challenging questions or complex topics.

The goal is not to cause offense, but rather to ensure that every voice can be heard.

The publishing house offers its titles in a variety of formats: standard print, large-print editions (using the 17-point "Luciole" typeface), e-books, and audiobooks.
